.PDFi does not collect personal information or usage data through the app. There is no sign-in or registration, and the app does not send documents, saved signatures, or device identifiers to the developer.
Every PDF you open, annotate, sign, or export is processed entirely on your device. .PDFi does not operate a document upload service. If you open or save a file through iCloud Drive, Dropbox, or another file provider, that provider handles its storage, downloads, and syncing under its own privacy policy. Files and backups remain subject to the locations and services you choose.
Signatures and initials you create are stored locally on your device so they are available the next time you open a document on that device. .PDFi does not automatically sync your signature library through iCloud or between devices. A signature placed in a PDF becomes part of that document and is included when you save or share it. The app does not send your signature library to the developer.
.PDFi contains no analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or third-party crash reporting or tracking service. It does not use the Advertising Identifier or track you across apps or websites. Apple's system services are governed by Apple's privacy policies and the settings you choose.
The app bundles no third party services or libraries that collect data. If you choose to share a document using the system share sheet, printing, or another app, that handoff is controlled by the app or service you select.
The app does not collect personal information from its users, including children.
If you email support, I receive your email address and the information or attachments you choose to send so I can respond to your request. Email is handled by the email providers involved. Please avoid sending confidential documents or signatures when a description of the issue is enough. You can use the contact address below to ask about or request deletion of information you have sent to support.
These support and privacy pages contain no analytics scripts or advertising. They are hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub processes visitor information, such as IP addresses and request logs, under the GitHub Privacy Statement.
You can remove saved signatures in Manage Signatures. Removing a library item does not remove signatures already placed in PDFs. Manage or delete your documents and their backups in the storage location or service you chose. Removing the app does not delete PDFs saved elsewhere, copies you shared, or backups held by another service.
If a future version of .PDFi ever adds a feature that requires collecting data, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be described in the release notes.
